Kimberly-Clark appoints new VP for UK and Ireland

Kimberly-Clark, a leading manufacturer of hygiene products for healthcare and other markets, has appointed Kim Underhill as Vice President, UK and Ireland.

Kim was formerly heading up North American Group Brands. In this position she led Kimberly-Clark’s North American tissue business, which includes such major brands as Kleenex and Scott.

In her new role, Kim is reporting to Giles Turrell, President of Consumer Europe. Giles said: “Kim will be a fantastic addition to Kimberly-Clark’s European team and I am sure we will all benefit from the expertise and energy she is sure to bring with her.”

“While these are challenging times, this is also a time of opportunity for trusted brands and innovative companies like Kimberly-Clark to prove their value to our customers and consumers,” Kim said. “I am looking forward to working in the UK, sharing my experiences and building on the excellent work that has already been carried out here.”

Kim joined Kimberly-Clark in 1988 and held various positions within Research & Engineering, Operations and Marketing before moving on to Marketing, Feminine Care and then Child Care. In 2006, she took on the role of directing business operations and marketing development for the nearly $4 billion North American Family Care business.

Kim and her family have relocated from the USA to the UK. She is working from Kimberly-Clark’s Kings Hill office.
