Chugai Pharma Europe (CPE) have announced that from October 1 2019, Troy Robinson will be appointed as Managing Director of Chugai Pharma Europe and Mike Crosher as Managing Director of its wholly owned commercial subsidiary Chugai Pharma UK (CPU).
In his new role, Troy will be responsible for all European business including commercial operations and Chugai’s European development function. He will ensure the continued success of Chugai in Europe through the established affiliate businesses in UK, France and Germany. He will lead the business by forming new partnerships to identify and bring novel therapies to patients both in the UK, and across the continent.
Troy began his career in financial services, with eleven years’ experience in pharmaceuticals and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG). Since 2012, he has served as a member of the CPU Leadership Team most recently as Managing Director, as well as previous roles including Head of Corporate Services within CPE and Finance Director for CPU. In previous roles, he has been instrumental in maintaining and growing team of 254 highly skilled employees across Europe.
In Mike’s new role, he will oversee all UK commercial operations, working alongside colleagues in Germany and France to bolster CPE’s commercial activity across Europe. A central part of his role will be working alongside existing business partners to bring Chugai’s portfolio of products to patients across the UK and Ireland.
Mike began his career as an Analytical Chemist before moving into the Pharmaceutical industry in 2003. Since 2013, he has served as a member of the CPU Leadership Team as Commercial Director, as well as previous roles including Value and Access Director and Head of Business Development. In his previous roles, he has worked with Chugai’s business partners throughout Europe to bring new products to market and ensure business success through his leadership of the sales and marketing functions.
