UK-based international healthcare communications agency, Makara Health, has promoted senior PR and communications specialist Helen Laurence to Director, reinforcing its leadership team as it continues to grow in the communications sector.
Helen is an established senior professional with over 15 years’ experience in healthcare communications. She has been with Makara Health, working as an Associate Director, for the past three years, heading up a number of national and global programmes.

Previously, Helen has worked at a range of respected healthcare communications agencies including Havas Just and Virgo Health. In addition, Helen served as Senior Press Officer at Alzheimer’s Society, providing a unique insight into this sector.
